Battery Motor Making

For tweens in grades 4 to 6. Learn how to make a working magnetic motor using a battery, magnets, and copper wire. All material will be provided. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Throughout the year, we offer three different age-related storytime sessions which are designed to enrich your child’s reading experience and set him or her on the path to lifelong learning.

Lapsit Storytimes for babies and toddlers up to age 2 feature nursery rhymes, music and movement and touch-and-feel books. They are held Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Storytimes for 2 year olds feature participation books, stories, music and movement, fingerplays and puppetry. They are held Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Storytimes for children ages 3-5 feature storytelling, books, music, fingerplays and puppetry. A story-related craft is offered following each session. They are held Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
