The Case Memorial Library began as a volunteer organization more than 50 years ago and volunteers are still a vital part of library operations, assisting library staff with a wide range of services. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents we would love to hear from you.
How to Volunteer
The first step to volunteering at the Case Memorial Library is to fill out a volunteer application. Volunteer applications are available at the Library’s Circulation Desk and in the Children’s Department. Return the application to any Library staff member and our volunteer coordinator will review your application and current volunteer opportunities to determine if we can match your skills with our needs.
Every attempt will be made to match volunteers with opportunities that match their skills, interests, and availability; however, we may not be able to provide volunteer opportunities for everyone who applies. We will keep volunteer applications on file for up to six months. As volunteer positions become available, we will select the best candidate from our list of applicants.
We welcome volunteers ages 13 and up to submit an application. Volunteers under 18 will need permission from a parent or guardian to volunteer.
