Library Page
Part-time position, up to 16 hours, no benefits. Salary $14.00 per hour. Minimum requirement – High School student age 15 or more; experience working or volunteering in a library is preferred.
The successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a love of books and reading. They should be able to:
- Assist patrons in locating desired books;
- Shelf read and straighten of shelves;
- Return material to correct library location;
- Rearrange books when overcrowding occurs;
- Clear tables and keeps library room in order;
- Check shelves for missing books and/or other materials;
- Give directional information;
- Assist with various programs;
- Transport used and out-dated magazines and books;
- Perform a variety of related activities as required.
